Teens in 10th grade become prepared for Confirmation with their own open hearts & minds, support and encouragement from their families, and our pastoral staff. Naomi Butler, Confirmation Coordinator and Youth Minister Ordinairre, invites guest speakers- (often people right within our own parish- who rock!)- to share their stories & challenge our young people to make a bold commitment to "embrace the grace" the Church constantly offers! Like Bob Rice suggests, "Confirmation is like a tattoo- it leaves a permanent mark..." (on.your.soul., silly!) You can check out more from him at www.bob-rice.com.
*Teens can choose to gather either during regular Faith Formation- (formerly known as "Sunday School or Religious Education," on Sundays, now from 9:30-10:45 a.m. 3x a month in The Parish Life Center's second floor Youth Room- (AKA The Old School), or plug into Youth Ministry Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m., same place- (unless we have Mass of course, then we'd be in The Church, but you knew that!) Just.Follow.The.Food, real or spiritual.
Adult Confirmation is through our initiation journey program called RCIA, or Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults and is under the direction of Varma Childs. Please follow this link to that program.
